This tile has deep horizontal stripes and random ripples, a recreation
of the work which only a Florentine master with strong hands in the
Renaissance era could have made on what is a XIV century forefather of
our own Santafiora stone, once quarried in areas adjacent to ours.
A grand and unique stone with which Florence, Pisa and countless other
ancient Tuscan towns were built.
The striped Florence finish gives rooms a modern flair touched with the
timeless and unique allure of Tuscany.
"Material highly valuable in the furnishing sector, Santafiora®
is a stone with warn tones and the ability to give a polychromatic
suggestive and natural effect to any project. Additional finishes, such
as polishing, flashing, sandblasting and bush-hammering, provide
aesthetic effects making it a versatile product for many applications.
Its anti-slip and frost resistant properties (certified by labs
recognised in Europe) make the stone suitable for flooring of squares,
historical centres, sidings of large buildings of continuous wall
claddings or ventilated walls.
Guarantees resistance to dark oxidation (normally caused by smog).
Moreover, its anti-frost and tear resistant properties makes it ideal
for ventilated facade claddings of large buildings exposed to salt or
located in high risk seismic zones."
